Muslims please help: Laughing at anther’s misfortune sinful?
I know that we are forbidden to make fun of peoples misfortune in Islam.
I recently made fun of my best friend Oman because he did not have enough money to ride the ride at the carnival… Our friends tempted me to leave him at the gate. Oman insisted that he was fine and will wait for us to get off the ride. Later my sister told me that he had talked to about what we had done to him and that it hurt his feelings - I feel horrible! I’m not a good friend
What should I have done?

I know some of our Islamic allies include these countries: Afganistan, Albania, Algeria, Algeria, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Chad, Egypt, Indonesia, Jordan, Kuwait, Malaysia, Mauritania, Mali, Morocco, Nigeria, Oman, Pakistan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Senegal, Tunisia, Turkey, U.A.E.
Hmmm, but lot’s of them are our allies.
They do stuff for us.
These countries are our allies and for most of them, this has been a situation that has spanned multiple U.S. administrations.

If they’re are enemies then why have we been selling arms to some of these countries for over 50 years?

Islam doesn’t equal oil. I’m having a hard time seeing the threat from the above nations. No wonder it’s so easy to go to war these days.

umm btw … ppl in these places arent violent… as a matter of fact in all of these places i can assure u there are americans .. for those who are scared… for example i know about 3 familes in saudia arabia .. and 6 in UAE .. and about 19 in bahrain and they are quiet happy here
